Zika virus 2021, Maharashtra has reported its first-ever case of Zika virus infection. The 50-year-old woman patient from Purandar area in Pune district also tested positive for Chikungunya.

 Efforts are on now to find out when to get rid of covid 19, yet covid 19 has not got rid of and a case of virus has been found which we call Zika virus.

A 50-year-old woman from Purandar tehsil in Pune tested positive for the infection on Friday, state public health officials said.  The woman also tested positive for chikungunya or (ZIKV) Zika virus 🦠 .

How it spread.

•     By a bite or sting from an animal or insect.
•     Having unprotected vaginal, anal, or oral sex. 

Zika virus was first discovered in 1947 and was named after Uganda's Zika forest.  In 1952, the first human case of Zika was discovered, and since then outbreaks of Zika have been reported in tropical Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Islands.

This disease named Zika virus is not a new disease, the disease has already been discovered.  Earlier only this sick thing was found, but now it has its effect, so be careful with this disease.

What if I get infected with the Zika virus?

 What health problems can Zika cause?  Many people infected with the Zika virus will have no symptoms or have mild symptoms that last from several days to a week.  However, Zika infection during pregnancy can cause a serious birth defect called microcephaly and other serious abnormalities of the fetus's brain.
