Prasad said, "Social media companies are welcome to do business in India. We appreciate it. Do business and earn money." He said that the government respects the right of disagreement but it is extremely important that users be given a forum to raise questions about misuse of social media. Prasad said that we have received many complaints that marched photographs are being shared on social media. They are being used for terrorist activities. Prasad said that the issue of misuse of social media platforms has gone from civil society to Parliament and the Supreme Court.


Recently, it is being heard that there are many social websites by the Indian government such as Facebook Instagram LinkedIn or many other websites which have not yet submitted some of their ethical courses to the Indian government, due to which India has given some rules.  And the regulations have made that those whose awarding they had to submit those things but they did not, then this is why the news is trending that Facebook and WhatsApp, your Instagram could banned  There are similar social websites which have not submitted their Ethical Courses to the Indian.

What is government rule for social media?


OTT and digital news media will have to provide detailed information about themselves.  Registration is not mandatory. The guidelines were announced on February 25 by Myti minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and I&B minister Prakash Javadekar.

In a joint press conference, the duo had clearly said the deadline for significant social media companies to comply with the rules would end in three months.
